Inception: Where It All Started
Now a global ultra-modern entity, Bohara Group had rather humble beginnings. Shri J Bhawarlal Bohara in 1974 laid the foundation of a company that would soon dominate the international market spaces in the stainless steel segment. Pradeep Industries was started as a sole proprietorship firm in 1979, with the aim of producing peerless stainless steel kitchen utensils for the perusal of common man. His elder son, Mr. Vijayraj Bohara, took the lead in adding value to the company by means of technological innovation and growth. Combined with the efforts of his younger son Mr. Rakesh Bohara to capitalize on market opportunities through effective communication and networking, Pradeep Industries became one of the forerunners in exports within a span of few years. If Vijayraj’s brains made the manufacturing unit stand out from the rest, Rakesh’s marketing skills and knack of connecting with people together transformed the company, from a small 4000 sq.ft manufacturer to a staggering 3 acres-large modern corporate unit.
It was in 1997 that Mr. Rakesh moved to Dubai in order to expand the family business and create new openings for the company. Bohara Trading Co. LLC was established to cater to the needs of the Middle East and North African regions. A strong network of distributors has made Bohara a force to reckon with in the MENA region.

1988 was the first International order in the history of Pradeep Industries, with a consignment marked for Canada. Since then, be it the foundation of Pradeep Industries or the consequent formation of Bohara Group, the reception of the company’s products and goodwill has reflected a rising growth curve, indicative of the markets warming up to Bohara Group.
